Teacher's guide to how a student can leave a review

For teachers: This is how your student can leave you a review

Students may be able to write a teacher review as soon as the first lesson has finished. This feedback is important as it gives potential students an insight into the experiences of your current students. Students are sent an email after their 4th lesson to make them aware of this feature. External students who have not completed at least 1 lesson on MusicTeachers.co.uk are unable to leave you a review.

How does a Student leave a review?

  • The Student should log into their MusicTeachers.co.uk account.

  • Next, they scroll down to the box labelled ‘Your Teachers’ where they will see your name and photo.

  • To the right of your name and photo, students will see the blue 'write a review' button which they can click to leave a star rating. This button is under the red ‘Buy a block of lessons’ button.

Once completed, reviews are visible to prospective students on your public-facing MusicTeachers profile. As the teacher, you can respond directly to every review a student leaves for you.

Once the blue Write Review button is clicked, the review box opens:

The 5 gold stars are automatically pre-populated and once the review is written and submitted, it will appear on your profile page.

Once there, you can reply to the student's review, which will also be visible to viewers.
