When purchasing lessons, you may be offered the option of paying in monthly instalments. We call these instalments "split payments". This option will be displayed at the time of purchase, after you have chosen the lesson block you wish to buy.
Split Payments - when can I use this option?
Examples of when you can choose to pay using split payments rather than in full on the day of purchase are:
Blocks of 10 lessons: over 2 monthly instalments.
Blocks of 20 lessons: choose from 5, 3 or 2 monthly instalments.
Blocks of 40 lessons: choose from 12, 9, 6 or 3 monthly instalments.
Lesson Offers over £100.00: over 3 monthly instalments.
When will the payments be taken?
The first payment is due on the day of purchase, with subsequent instalments being taken on the first of the month. To find out more about instalment dates please read our article on 2nd instalment dates.
Does each payment 'unlock' new lessons in my plan?
No. All lessons in your block are available to you immediately after purchase. If you choose the split-payment plan you are agreeing to make a payment each month for its duration, no matter how many lessons have been used and when. If you stop your lessons for a break or only take lessons infrequently, the monthly instalments will continue with the plan until its scheduled completion date. Lesson purchase schedules are independent of the dates lessons are used and lessons are valid for up to 1 year from the date of purchase.
What happens if I miss a payment?
We'll notify you if we can't collect a planned split payment. If your card details need updating, this can be rectified by inputting your card details again. Log into your account, and click 'My Account' on the top navigation bar. Next, from the left-hand list, choose 'Payment Details'. You can update your card details here. Please note that if you have missed a payment, it will be collected after you update your card details.
